PROMPT LOST Here is a poem I wrote about rocket science in the style of William Shakespeare: To launch a rocket to the sky We must apply the laws of motion That Newton taught us long ago With wisdom and devotion The first law says a resting thing Will rest until a force doth move it And moving things will keep their course Unless some power doth improve it The second law declares the force Is equal to the mass and speeding The greater force, the greater change In rocket's pace and proceeding The third law tells of action, reaction Equal and opposite in direction The rocket pushes on the gas The gas propels it to perfection These are the rules of rocket science That guide the flight of fire and metal Though simple in their outward form They make the art no easy kettle
